Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is great!!!

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift (ファイナルファンタジータクティクス A2 封穴のグリモア, Fainaru Fantajī Takutikusu Eitsū Fūketsu no Gurimoa) has been released in Japan for a while now. After finishing The World Ends With You, I resume playing this game. As the name implies, it is the sequel of the GBA's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I always love tactical games, again considering I have spent tons of time on Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. This DS game is built around a more lightweight (i.e., no epic war between two big clans) background compared to Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. Somehow a kid named Luso of an unknown world and time other than ours got zapped to a fantasy world, which is filled with different races, jobs, clans and classes. And, to get back to his own world, he has to "finish his own story in the book". From here you could tell it is definitely Final-Fantasy, i.e., an interesting, abstract, somehow-weird, sometimes-doesn't-even-make-sense storyline. But, who cares, I in fact enjoy this type of storyline.

The gameplay is just like any other Final Fantasy Tactics franchise -- turn-based tactical board. That's actually why I like most. I suck at chess, but I think I can play this game better. Another unique feature of FFT is that there are myriad of classes and jobs that the gamer can use to customize, upgrade, change the characters. Moreover, in addition to the main storyline, the gamer can enjoy finishing some other side quests to get some treasures or weapons. Of course, finishing the quests could grant me some satisfactions. No wonder to finish this type of game we could spend more than 40 hours.
